5 Reasons to Refer Your Patients
- At Serene Orthodontics we’re comfortable tackling even the most challenging cases with Invisalign clear aligners. To our patient’s delight, we have corrected significant open bite cases (that often require jaw surgery) without surgery, severely crowded cases often needing extraction without extracting permanent teeth, and severe under/ overbites (often thought to be outside the realm of aligners) all predictably with clear aligner therapy! Check out our Smile Gallery for examples!
- We’re experts at Phase I! While some prefer not treating when baby teeth are still involved, we value the importance of Phase I when it is indicated to help improve airway, create space for permanent teeth, and perform expansion before the sutures of our child’s jaw bones fuse. When needed Phase I can help significantly ease a child’s future teenage years in braces/aligners. We utilize Invisalign, Invisalign palatal expanders, traditional expanders, braces, and removable appliances to meet your child’s needs. More examples also in our Smile Gallery. ◡̈
- We pride ourselves on never overtreating. While we recommend children first see an orthodontist at age 6 to ensure their teeth and jaws are developing normally, not all children require early Orthodontic intervention. We enjoy and pride ourselves on our complimentary observation visits. This means if a child does not need orthodontic treatment, we will monitor them complimentary to ensure their teeth are shedding and erupting normally and their jaw bones are growing as expected. We value ourselves on treating patients only when necessary and/or desired.
- A gentle touch. Dr. Mana is patient, kind, sweet and honest to each and every patient. We take our time explaining each procedure to your child so they are never caught off guard. If your child has dental anxiety or special needs, we welcome them with open arms offering them a serene safe space for their dental journey. We provide nitrous sedation to help children (and adults) soothe their stress/worries at any appointment.
- Dr. Mana is ABO Board Certified. A voluntary credential that demonstrates an orthodontist’s commitment to lifelong learning and high standards of patient care. The process involves a thorough written examination that once completed allows the orthodontist to proceed to the clinical examination. After successful completion of these examinations, the orthodontist has officially achieved Board Certification, for a time-limited period. The orthodontist must go through Certification Renewal every 10 years to maintain their certification status by demonstrating this continued level of patient care.
